Distt. Panipat is situated in east of Haryana. Some Districts of Uttar Pardesh like Kirana, Muzafar Nagar, and three Districts of Haryana like Karnal, Sonipat, and Jind are attached with the boundaries of Distt. Panipat.

• Panipat Distt. came into existence on 1st November, 1989  its population is near about 12,02,811 On per basis of 2012 Census.

• In this District 1 Division, 5 Tehsisl/Sub Tehsils, 9 Police Stations, 17 Police Post, 13 Courts, 183 Villages and  167 Panchayats.

• Distt. Panipat  is  situated on the both sides of GT Road. There is though much Industries in this District so the peoples of this Distt. are facing heavy Traffic  and Pollutions Problems.

• To control over the Traffic One Traffic Police Station has been set up on GT Road near Babarpur.

• Most Peoples of this Distt. are based on working in Industries.

• A lot of Peoples of other States like Bihar, U.P  and Countries like Nepal and Bangladesh are working in the industries of this District due to this Police has setup Nakas, PCRs, Riders, to control over the crime and night patrolling on the State Highways and city areas.

• Due to above reasons and discussion crime situation is under control.
